Finally, there is the option where the asphalt pavement is completely flat, and then the concrete wall is installed over it. Each of these options has its own set of benefits and drawbacks.

As you can see, the process of having an overcrossing installed is a complicated and lengthy one. It starts with the determination of the location of the overcrossing, and then the selection of a specific utility company to perform the job, and then contract negotiations to build the retaining walls and the concrete slab. It also requires finding a contractor with experience in this type of work, as well as access to qualified workers. After that, it is a matter of clearing and grubbing, demo and removals, and then finally the installation of the new asphalt pavement.
